Number of corporate bankruptcies fairly stable
According to Statistics Netherlands, 470 businesses and institutions (excluding one-man businesses) were declared bankrupt in February this year, i.e. 7 down from the preceding month.
Number building of permits drops further
Figures published today put the number of permits granted for the construction of new dwellings at nearly 17 thousand. This is 37 percent lower than in the same period last year.
