In November 2022, 364 thousand people were unemployed. From September through November, unemployment declined by an average of 5 thousand per month.

In October 2022, there were 365 thousand unemployed, equivalent to 3.7 percent of the labour force.

In September 2022, there were 382 thousand unemployed. Just as in August, this was equivalent to 3.8 percent of the labour force.

In August 2022, unemployment continued to rise to 378 thousand. This is 3.8 percent of the labour force.

In July 2022, unemployment rose further to 353 thousand. This is 3.6 percent of the labour force. From May through July, unemployment rose by an average of 12 thousand per month.

In the period December through February, unemployment declined by an average of 8 thousand per month. This resulted in 336 thousand unemployed in February 2022, i.e. 3.4 percent of the labour force.
