Why are there new fields in 2022?

These fields are required by the new European regulation on business statistics that the CBS has to comply with. Based on the new regulation, statistical offices of the various EU member states will exchange microdata on intra-EU exports (flow 7-ICL). The new fields are necessary for this exchange to run smoothly, so that other member states can compile the import figures from the Netherlands.
