HSMR 2012 Methodological report

Statistics Netherlands has calculated The Hospital Standardised Mortality Ratios (HSMRs) for Dutch hospitals for the period 2010-2012. This report describes the methods that were used.

Excel file ‘Classification of variables HSMR 2012’ contains the ICD9-CM codes of the 50 CCS groups and of the Severity variable, and the classification of Socio-economic status for the years 2011 and 2012.

Excel file ‘Coefficients HSMR 2012.xls’ contains the coefficients and standard errors of the HSMR 2010-2012 model by CCS group.
