What does the survey comprise?
Purpose
To clarify the price development of the production in the building industry. This price index is to be used as a deflator to the volume development of building production.
Date/year survey started
1950. The first outcome concerned one figure for all building types together. Over time the series extended. Figures to multiple categories building types are available starting from 1995.
Target population
Companies in the building industry.

Quarter.
Publication strategy
The figures are provisional for four quarters.
How is the survey conducted?
Survey type
The data on which the index is based are already available at the CBS. Individual survey of data is therefore unnecessary.
