Negotiated wages

The hourly wage rates agreed under collective labour agreements (CAO in Dutch) including special remuneration include:
- Gross basic wage rates for hours worked by fulltime employees.
- All guaranteed regularly paid allowances fixed or in pursuance of laws.
- All guaranteed allowances fixed or in pursuance of laws that are not paid on a monthly basis, such as holiday allowance or end of the year bonus payments.
Excluded are extra allowances that are conditional in the collective labour agreement, such as shift work allowances or age-related allowances, and individual pay rises.
