The provisional figures in this article may differ from the final figures. In general, some time elapses between the actual demographic event and the moment the data is received at Statistics Netherlands (CBS).
For figures on live births and deaths, this is usually only 1 to 5 days but for migration or marriages, it can take several weeks and sometimes months. It is also possible that more information about individuals is known when the final figures are calculated.
