EU/EFTA countries

The EU/EFTA countries are countries that are part of Europe's two major economic partnerships:

1. the EU: the European Union (EU) is a political and economic union of 27 European countries (previously 28), working together in various fields, including trade, law and foreign policy.
2. EFTA: the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) has four members (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) which are not part of the EU, but have a free trade agreement with the EU.

The EU/EFTA countries are countries that belong either to the EU or to EFTA.
