Netherlands pollutant release and transfer register

The Netherlands’ pollutant release and transfer register is a partnership between five knowledge institutions: the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), Statistics Netherlands, the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency), Wageningen University and Research (WUR) and Deltares (Deltares). The Netherlands’ pollutant release and transfer register collects and registers emissions of around 375 pollutants in the Netherlands from all relevant sources in the country.
