Knowledge migrants, also known as highly skilled migrants, include all labour migrants who have migrated to the Netherlands on the basis of the Netherlands’ highly skilled migrant scheme or a related schemes, including those for self-employed people, scientific researchers and potantial knowledge migrants. The majority of knowledge migrants make use of the highly skilled migrant scheme.
