Respondents were counted as having ‘moved house within two years’ if they were living at a different address two years after the survey and were no longer a child living in their parents’ home. This article refers to respondents’ home situation two years after the date of the survey. Around 15 to 20 percent of the young people who had moved house during that time had done so more than once. For this group, their home at the time of the survey was not their first home since leaving their parents’ home.
