These figures are based on the Netherlands’ Personal Records Database. In addition to the categories of male and female, this includes the category of gender unknown, which include non-binary persons and those of non-specific sex (either at birth or upon entering the country). This group is too small (350 people in the entire population) to disaggregate because reliable statistics cannot be made when so few data points have been collected. For a complete picture, 'gender unknown' was included in the category of 'women'.
