In the survey, people were asked about their average commuting time to their employee’s permanent address. This means a one-way trip from the worker’s residence to their employee’s address, based on the past three months. People who always work from home were asked to estimate what the average commuting time to their employer's permanent address would be. Distance between locations and mode of transport were not included.
Some respondents did not answer this question. They reported that their employer does not have a permanent location to go to, or that they never go there.
