Labour migrants

CBS receives data from the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) on the migration motives of persons with a non-EU/EFTA nationality who entered the Netherlands after 1999. This news release therefore only covers persons who immigrated after 1999.

From 2014, in addition to the migration motive, the scheme on the basis of which non-EU/EFTA labour migrants received a permit is also known. The figures on residence schemes therefore only refer to persons who immigrated after 2014.
