For the analysis of accumulation of well-being, we were able to make use of indicators satisfaction with life, income, wealth, perceived health, labour participation, satisfaction with leisure time, satisfaction with the home, trust in other people and trust in institutions. The analysis was based on the Social Cohesion and Well-being Survey, in which information on these nine indicators was available for all respondents. If an individual has unfavourable scores on at least three indicators, this indicates an accumulation of unfavourable outcomes. If an individual has favourable scores on at least seven indicators, this is designated as an accumulation of favourable outcomes.
