Adjustments
In this study, the wage gap between men and women is adjusted for differences in:
- employee characteristics: age, origin, education level, field of education, number of years employed by current employer, work disability, household situation, partner income, region of residence;
- employer characteristics: industry/sector, number of employees in the organisation, proportion of female colleagues, profitability of the company;
- job characteristics: occupational level, occupational field, permanent/indefinite contract, full-time/part-time work, type of employment relation, managerial position, management position.
