Enterprises
Companies that are registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and with at least one employed person are included in this news release, as well as self-employed persons. For legal forms other than sole proprietorships, turnover criteria also apply.
Enterprise creation is bound to several economic criteria that apply to all companies. There must be information available on either employment or business turnover at this company; in addition, it is important that it concerns a newly established company; the continuation of one or more existing companies is thus not considered a creation.
This means there is no creation in the following cases:
- merger, break-up or split-off;
- acquisition or privatisation of part of a company;
- change of name;
- change of legal form;
- change of ownership;
- gradual change of activity;
- relocation;
- reactivation.
