In the National Health Survey, all respondents are asked: ‘How is your health/the health of your child in general?’. The five possible answers were: very good, good, not bad, poor and very poor. Respondents who answer ‘not bad', ‘poor' or ‘very poor’ perceive their health as less than good. As for children up to the age of 12, this question is answered by one of the parents or caretakers.
