Company dissolutions and bankruptcies

A dissolution is the termination of an existing company. This means that a significant part of the activities are not continued by another company. A dissolution only occurs when the company (including its employment) no longer belongs to the enterprise population. The declared bankruptcy is a different statistic and has the condition that the bankruptcy has actually been determined by a court, and therefore does not include cases where, for example, the business has been discontinued in order to avoid bankruptcy.
