The quoted international figures on the availability of avocados for domestic consumption (in the broad sense) were obtained from CBI (Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries), CIRAD (Agricultural Research for Development) and Eurostat. The figures for the Netherlands are estimates by CBS based on import and export data.
