The forecast figures in this news release were calculated based on assumptions about immigration, birth rate and life expectancy from the CBS key population forecast ‘Kernprognose 2019-2060’. For this exploratory study, calculations have included distinctions by migration background. The results therefore do not correspond exactly with the calculations in the key population forecast.
