A measure for volume of work. Part-time jobs are measured in proportion to the working week length (excluding overtime and after deducting ADV working time reduction). In determining the average work volume over a certain period of time, both the starting date and end date of the job and the weekly working hours are taken into account. A combination of two consecutively held full-time jobs, each with a duration of six months, will add towards the annual average by one labour year. They add up to less than one labour year if they are part-time jobs.
