A job is referred to as a contractual agreement between a person and an economic entity, stipulating that work shall be performed for which a (financial) reward is given. This survey also includes internships, part-time jobs and jobs with a low number of work hours. Self-employment, other types of employment (freelance etc.) or employment abroad are not classified as jobs. When determining the number of jobs for a certain period, the job’s start and end date are taken into consideration instead of the weekly hours of work.
