Trading blocs, groups of trading partners
This news release focuses on the following six trading blocs / groups of countries:
EU 15 (France, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Finland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Ireland and the Netherlands, all of which were members of the EU before 2004).
EU 13 (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Malta, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, all of which joined the EU in 2004 or later)
NAFTA (Canada, United States, Mexico)
BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa)
APEC 15 (Australia, Brunei, Chile, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea (in other words: the APEC countries excluding Canada, China, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Russia and the United States)).
