In the case of identity theft, the question was asked whether it had been reported to any bank/financial institution or other (non-)specified institution. In the case of online shopping fraud, the question was asked whether it had been reported to any consumer organisation (e.g. the Dutch Consumers’ Association or a Dutch TV programme such as Kassa or Radar), or any other (non-) specified institution. In the case of hacking or cyberbullying, no institutions were mentioned and the only question asked was whether the case had been reported to any other (non-)specified institution; examples are online reporting points for hacking and cyberbullying and - in the case of cyberbullying among young people - schools.
