Figures on emission levels over 2016 are preliminary. In the spring of 2018, definitive figures will be published in StatLine, in the Environmental Data Compendium and on the website of the Netherlands Pollutant Release and Transfer Register. Emission levels have been calculated in accordance with guidelines set by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in 2006 (2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories) under the Kyoto Protocol.
