Cloud computing is a service enabling users to store files on the internet through programmes like DropBox, Apple iCloud, GoogleDrive or Microsoft SkyDrive. The survey question was: ‘Did you use the internet during the last 3 months to store private documents, photographs, music, videos or other files and did you use a file hosting service like DropBox, Apple iCloud, GoogleDrive or MicrosoftSkydrive?’ It specifically concerns the storage of files and the possibility to share these files with other individuals.
