Syrians

People born in Syria of whom at least one of the parents was born abroad (first-generation) or people born in the Netherlands of whom at least one parent is a Syrian national (second-generation).
Syrians included in the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP). Registered asylum seekers can register in the BRP as soon as they have received a residence permit or have stayed in an asylum centre for a period of at least six months. As yet, CBS has no data about the group not registered in the BRP.
