Psychological complaints
1. Did you feel very nervous?
2. Was your mood so low that nothing could cheer you up?
3.Did you feel calm and composed?
4. Did you feel depressed and gloomy?
5. Did you feel happy?
Each question offers the following 6 answer categories: all the time-most of the time-often-sometimes-seldom-never. The answers to the positively formulated questions in the MHI questionnaire (questions 3 and 5) were given the values 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and 0 in sequence. The negatively formulated questions (questions 1, 2 and 4) were assigned the same values in reverse order. For each respondent, the sum scores were calculated which were multiplied by 4, so that the minimum sum score of a participant can be 0 (extremely poor mental health)and the maximum score 100 (perfect mental health). A score of 60 or higher qualifies a person as in good mental health, lower than 60 as in poor mental health.
