Energy tax

The survey below includes energy taxes and levy discounts imposed over the past five years. On 1 January 2013, a new tax on electricity and natural gas consumption was introduced, i.e. the levy Storage Renewable Energy (ODE).
All amounts are excluding VAT.

2013: 18.62 eurocents/ cubic metre (1st and 2nd tax bracket combined since 1 January 2013)

Levy discount: a fixed annual amount deducted from the electricity bill

Levy Storage Renewable Energy (ODE): the proceeds of the ODE levy are used to encourage investment in renewable energy production.
