Dutch figures on the value of Dutch exports distinguish between exports of goods manufactured in the Netherlands and exports of goods imported from other countries after - in some cases - having undergone additional processing (re-exports). This distinction is essential, because the contribution of exports of products manufactured in the Netherlands to the Dutch economy is much bigger (approximately 54 eurocents) than the contribution of re-exported products (approximately 8 eurocents).
