Countries taking part

The 32 countries taking part in the census round are the 28 countries of the European Union and the 4 of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

The EU consists of: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
The EFTA comprises Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
