Turnover in festive season

The figures on turnover realised in November and December have been estimated on the basis of monthly retail turnover figures by retail sector in the period 2005-2013.
The estimation is based on the premise that the higher turnover in November and December compared with the average in the first ten months of the year is entirely attributable to the festive period.
