Manufacturing prices down
Selling prices of Dutch manufacturing industry were 2.3 percent lower in August 2013 than in August 2012. In the preceding two months, prices were approximately at the same level as one year previously.

Selling prices of petroleum derivatives dropped notably in August by 9.6 percent relative to August 2012. Prices of chemical products and basic metal products were also down from one year previously, by 3.2 and 3.1 percent respectively.
Prices of leather products and electrical appliances, on the other hand, rose considerably, by 4.2 and 3.4 percent respectively. Prices of food, drinks and tobacco products together were 0.7 percent up from August 2012.
Index selling prices
Prices of manufactured products traded on the domestic and foreign markets did not change in August 2013 compared to July 2013.
