Rent harmonisation

The term rent harmonisation means that, if a new tenant moves in, the rent of the dwelling can be raised above the maximum rent increase allowed for that particular year. This is also allowed after renovation of a dwelling. The rent after harmonisation must be below the maximum rent allowed on the basis of the rating system issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations.
