Unemployment further up
Adjusted for seasonal variation, 694 thousand people in the Netherlands were unemployed in July 2013, an increase by 19 thousand relative to June. Unemployment has risen almost continuously since mid-2011. In July this year, 8.7 percent of the Dutch labour force were unemployed, the highest rate in decades.
