Seven in ten use online banking services

More than seven in ten Dutch residents aged 12 years or older (10.2 million persons) used online banking services on a regular basis last year. The share varies between 91 percent in the 25 to 45-year-old population to 17 percent among over-75s. The low percentage among over-75s is due to the fact that on only a small proportion of elderly have access to the internet. Among over-75s with access to the internet, six in ten use online banking services.
