Terms of trade marginally down
Dutch terms of trade of imported and exported goods deteriorated marginally in February 2013 relative to February 2012. Prices of exported goods were at the same level as one year previously and prices of imported goods were 0.2 percent higher. In January, terms of trade remained unchanged compared to one year previously.
Export as well as import prices of food products rose considerably from one year previously, but basic metal and metal products were cheaper than in February 2012. Price changes of other goods were more modest.
