The parental contribution to child care and the total costs of child care involve the costs of child care and the parental contribution to them in so far as they do not exceed the maximum hourly rate for which there is compensation. Any cost that do exceed this maximum have to be paid by the parents themselves and are not included in the results presented here. Back to article
