Dutch consumers remain pessimistic
The mood among Dutch consumers was just as negative in August as in July. The consumer confidence indicator remained stable at – 32. Confidence is still at a very low level. The consumer confidence indicator averaged – 8 over the past two decades.
Consumers’ opinions on the economic climate hardly changed in August relative to July. The component indicator willingness-to-buy also remained virtually unchanged.
