More unemployed

Adjusted for seasonal variation, 495 thousand people in the Netherlands were unemployed in June, an increase by 6 thousand relative to May. The average monthly increase over the past three months was 10 thousand.

In June, 6.3 percent of the Dutch labour force were unemployed, versus 6.2 percent in the preceding month. The unemployment rate among people under the age of 45 has grown in the past month, while the percentage among people aged 45 and older remained stable.
