Self-employed service provider without personnel
Self-employed without personnel who provides labour or services. Someone whose main job it is to work for their own account and risk in their own company or practice or in an independent profession, who does not employ personnel and whose company’s main goal is to provide labour or services.
In 2011 a new question was added to the labour force survey (EBB) distinguishing between the self-employed without personnel who provide labour (e.g. sales representative, consultant or painter) and those who sell products of provide raw materials (e.g. a retailer). On the basis of this information it is possible to produce stock and flow figures about these specific groups of self-employed without personnel starting with the first quarter of 2012.
