Left for an unknown destination (VOW)

Persons not registered in any Dutch municipality. They are coded as ‘not existent’ in the GBA and are not counted as residents of the Netherlands. They are removed from the GBA where they were last registered. Part of them are later registered as residents of a Dutch municipality. Annually, more people are removed from GBA than included. In the annual emigration statistics, the difference is added to registered emigration.
