Zero growth for private sector investments in June
In June 2011, private sector investments in tangible fixed assets were the same as in June 2010, whereas in May, they were still nearly 10 percent up on one year previously. Growth evaporated, which can – to a large extent - be attributed to the working-day effect. June 2011 was two working days down on June 2010; May had four working days more than May last year.
