Smaller rise in factory gate prices
Dutch Manufacturers raised their prices by 9 percent in June 2011 relative to June 2010. For the third month running, the price increase was less substantial than in the preceding month.
Factory gate prices of refined petroleum products were nearly 19 percent higher in June than one year previously, while in May the increase was 24 percent. Prices of chemical products were 17 percent up on June 2010. Manufacturers of food products charged 12 percent more for their products. The price increase in those branches was also less substantial than in May.
Compared with one month previously, prices dropped for the second consecutive month. In June, selling prices in manufacturing industry were 0.9 percent lower than in May. The average price reduction on the domestic market was smaller than the price reduction on the foreign market.
