Terms of trade hardly changed
Dutch terms of trade of imported and exported goods hardly changed in May 2011 compared to May 2010. Prices of exported goods were 6.2 percent higher, prices of imported goods rose by 6.1 percent.
Higher prices for natural gas and petroleum derivatives contributed most to the increase in export prices. Import prices of natural gas, petroleum and petroleum derivatives were also far beyond the level of one year previously.
