After-school care

Care for primary-school-age children as formal care outside school hours and during absence of teachers and holidays. Since the school year 2007/2008, schools have to offer after-school care at the parents’ request.

Since the introduction of Childcare Act in 2005 parents can claim an income-related allowance and since 2007, parents are also entitled to a childcare allowance, if the use formal childcare.
