Development of building land
Activities involving the conversion of rough undeveloped land, or land that has to be decontaminated and reconstructed, into building lots that can be sold to others (private persons, companies, institutions). The lots can also be leased out: in that case the land remains the property of the municipality and the user pays an annual rent.
These activities include: drafting structural and zoning plans; land acquisition; land preparation; residential infrastructure (construction of residential roads, sewerage systems, etc.); construction of connecting roads, cycle paths, green areas; community provisions such as community centres, etc.; financing and administration of land development; leasing management; etc.
