Corporate investments down in December

In December 2010, the volume of private fixed capital formation in tangible assets was 2.1 percent down on December 2009. The decline occurred after a marginal growth in October and November. Lower investments in the construction sector in December contributed to the overall decline. The harsh weather conditions in December may have played a part in this respect.
