Hybrid car

A car which combines a combustion engine with an electric engine and a rechargeable battery. This electric engine supports the combustion engine, which means it uses less fuel. Moreover the energy released when the car decelerates or brakes is stored and used to again to power the car. The combustion engine may be petrol or diesel powered, or a more efficient Stirling engine.
